I have to put forward that what you get out of a forum is pretty proportional to what you put into it. If you're only posting once a week, it's not really our fault that you're bored.  If there aren't threads that spark your interest, then make one (or more)! It's not that complicated of a concept.

Meh, I've been reading a lot, but I don't have anything to say back. So now I'm going to stop reading and forcing myself to say stuff back. And in case you've never noticed, my topics never work out. I don't know what it is, but they just don't.

I feel you on that. Man, do I suck at making topics. I dunno, if you find you want to be more productive by all means do so--that's your call. I don't know if you really have the right to just call us boring though, as that's a pretty subjective thing.

Then by your definition of boring I have every write to call you boring. If it is indeed subjective, than I the subject hereby declare you boring!
It's not really that you're boring people. A lot of you I find very interesting. But what do I do here? What have I always done here? Pretty much loped around, being a nothing. Out of those 20 posts(look under my avatar, eh?), like, 5 got replies. I realize that fun is subjective too, but if that's your definition of fun, you need help. My definition of fun is getting stuff done, looking back at the day and saying to myself, "Man I'm awesome, look what I did today!" Actually, that day hasn't come yet, but I keep coming closer and closer, and one day I'll finally get myself off my lazy butt and accomplish stuff for one whole entire day. Then maybe I'll be able to repeat that one day the rest of my life. Now that sounds awesome.
And how paradoxical is it that in leaving, I have tripled my activity here? |

No, just that it's a relative thing and what's boring to you is probably not boring to us. Everyone's entertained by different things, so while your opinion might be "damn you're a boring lot", other people might be like "LOL MAN THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME" (hey, we can dream).

Then find something else to do here, post more, lurk moar, whatever. Anything to increase your activity will probably keep you entertained a bit more. It's difficult for you to complain about what you do here when you have every bit of power to alter that. You're even threatening to do so now--by leaving. So why not be more active? I've had that problem for a while, just having nothing to say, but that's okay. Reading is alright sometimes, just replying here and there. But there's usually something to say or do, so...

Er, Damian, are you offended that he's suggesting he's got more important and entertaining things to do, or are you sad that he's leaving? And which of those is a more appropriate reason to insist he stays? 
Anyway, see you, Orn! Of course, there's no reason why can't pop in if you ever get the inclination to do so. You might even find it more enjoyable once you balance your productivity with everything else in your life. G'luck, then!

| I share pretty much the same feelings with El O, but I dont plan on leaving for awhile. So I just lurk. I try to check the forums every morning or again in the evening if I'm really bored. But I rarely post now as I cant really find a thread worth replying to anymore. |

A little bit of both, actually. I'm not really insisting he stays--it's his call, although I always appreciated his humorous posts--I'm just a bit annoyed at a few of the things he has said. So yeah, both apply in varying amounts. Consider it a half-and-half thing. I will, of course, miss your presence in the forums. Don't get me wrong on that one.
