So anyway, who remembers how the last slogan thread went off the rails when people started posting every bit of inane, uninteresting drivel that came into their heads as a slogan?
No-one in particular, of course. Just some people on the last page. Not Tommy though, obviously. Or LynkStar. Or Xenofan, dPaladin or Yoshgunn.
Naming no names though.

But this new thread hasn't gone stale yet. When it does, we can banish it to the Treasury. As it stands, though, I think these new slogans are pretty good.

You know what? It was good enough. High school students fifty years from now will have to analyze my slogan for their senior English class, and the teachers will get mad if one of the students asks why they have to read crap from fifty years ago. You know why? Because it's a classic, that's why. It really sticks with you, unlike that hack F. Scott Fitzgerald. |
